Oman and Chinese Ceramic

Oman, located in the Arabian Peninsula, near the Gulf of Oman, India and China access to the Persian Gulf Merchant Shipping Channel. I live in Oman and regularly find Chinese ceramics throughout the country. A few weeks ago, I went to the British Museum in London to speak with the curator at the China galleries. She kindly used her knowledge to give me background information on some Chinese shards I found in Oman.
